About Retrouvaille

Retrouvaille is a french word, roughly translated as ‘re-discover’. It began in 1977 as a French language weekend for hurting marriages in the province of Quebec, Canada. It was adapted to English by the community in Toronto.

In 1982, Retrouvaille began to spread to communities throughout the United States and South America. In 1991, an international expansion of the ministry began in many other countries around the world.

Today, the worldwide Retrouvaille ministry has active communities in Canada, Central & South America, Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, the Western Pacific and Asia. Retrouvaille is a non-profit and all volunteer ministry that collectively impacts more struggling marriages and families than any other ministry in the world.

In India:

Retrouvaille in India was started by the ‘International Expansion team’ along with the assistance of Singapore community in Bangalore and the first weekend was held on 19-21 January 2011 and has been growing ever since!

Retrouvaille is growing and has expanded it’s horizon to Mumbai, Goa and Chennai.

Our Vision:

We believe that every marriage is a union of one man and one woman; it deserves the opportunity to survive, be healed and thrive as a covenant of life and love. Retrouvaille is the place where we, as hurting couples, found hope and so we are passionately committed to dramatically increasing the number of couples served in both new and existing communities worldwide.

  • Our Mission:
  • Retrouvaille is an International community of disciples committed to the continued healing of their marriages and, empowered by the Holy Spirit, sharing their stories, talent and gifts to promote and spread the healing ministry of Retrouvaille.
